Africa
Children in Tanzania were the first to be touched by IMPaX World’s global vision even before it had officially become operational. During April 2004, IMPaX made the commitment to supply nutritional food supplements to an orphanage that housed 84 HIV positive children ranging from infant to early teens. After using EnerPrime and EnerEfa for only a few weeks, according to a report issued by the camp director, Dr. Jeff Khaemba, the kids were doing amazingly well. This sparked a vision in the heart of the founders Greg and Brenda Im to launch IMPaX World internationally and to develop the IMPaX World Foundation.
Ghana West Africa greatly benefited from the IMPaX Foundation when in 2006 IMPaX World representatives supplied money to help build and facilitate a women’s training center in that nation headed by Pastor Paul Doe of Tema. The center is designed to train women in nearby villages to make clothing using hand-powered sewing machines. The foundation helped supply materials to build a new school for about 200 children who daily gathered under a makeshift brush arbor. Now the Foundation is launching its "Stay in School Program" as well.
South Africa experienced first-hand the blessing given through the IMPaX Foundation when enough food was supplied to feed several hundred orphan children in a remote village in that nation.
The Republic of Malawi felt the heart-beat of the IMPaX Foundation when much needed food was provided for the poorest of the poor in that nation.
